Back in 2013, diver and artist Doug Klein constructed a life-size statue of Jason Voorhees, complete with hockey mask, and chained it to the bottom of a lake near Crosby, Minnesota.
Okay, it's not a lake exactly. It's a water-filled mine pit called Louise, and it's one that Minnesotans use for learning and practicing recreational diving. It also has a history of placing prank skeletons for divers to spot. Klein was inspired by this when he created and planted Jason. Check it out:
